I didnot use them when she was a newborn because they seemed too bulky (but I could be wrong there!!). I have found them to be an excellent product and so easy to use. NO LEAKS with these wraps!!! I was using Real Nappies during the day and disposables at night, when my baby developed severe nappy rash I converted to disposables full-time thinking this would draw the moisture away quicker from my daughter. My baby's nappy rash got so severe that I had to take her to see a skin specialist. His words were "your daughter has 3rd degree burns from the disposables, we are seeing this more and more, I strongly advise you to go back to using cloth nappies, and use them full-time".
